Diary - Remove wisdom teeth at government Clinic

15 Oct 2009 (Thursday) - Finally removed my wisdom teeth today.
I was suffering teeth pain for 3weeks already and last monday i really not feeling well and see doctor. Doctor said that my last wisdom teeth no place to grow and i need to remove it. Or else i will always feel pain when eating.

On the same day, i decided to go for government dentist rather that dental specialist because specialist is always expensive. Therefore, i went down to macalister road clinic and only paid for RM1 visit fees. When i heard doctor NG said that i need minor operation to remove my wisdom teeth, i feel like fainting. He known i'm scare and he said don't worry, its very fast only. I had make an appointmnet with him on 16 Oct 2009 8am and the nurse remind me to take my meal before come for the appointment. From register until here, it take me only 20mins. So, we need to change our mind set to visit government hospital/clinic/dental next time.
For me, all doctors/dentist service with government are proffesional!! TRUST THEM!!!

My appointment was re-schedule 1day early. This morning before go to clinic, i was alone taking breakfast in town area. I ordered "Keoy Teow Soup" (big bowl) & "O Kuih" and make sure i'm full! When i reached clinic, i start feel scare and start praying already. After register and wait for 5mins then the nurse ask me to go for XRAY first. He told me the instruction & gave me the protector suit and put a small piece of rubber to put inside my mounth and start XRAY.

The most interesting part come... when go in the room and Doc.NG ask me lay down and open my mouth. Lucky he said that "you case is very simple, we will not operate it first and try remove it. If really cannot remove it then we only need operation". OMG.. my heart beat start beating faster and faster and the only things come on my mind is praying god.. "na mo guan shi yin pu sha....."

After that, the dentist start apply anaesthetic to my lower jaw and he shown me the XRAY photos that my new wisdom teeth growth very nice. After few second, my lower left jaw, lips & tongue had no feeling. Doc. NG start open up the tools and start removing my teeth, i start panic and i hold my both hand tightly. After few minutes pressing & pulling process, finally i heard Doc. NG said that, "Your teeth is successfully removed out, congratulation!!!" Oh thanks god!!! Doc.NG asked me do i want to keep my teeth? Of course I WANT TO KEEP IT!!! This teeth caused me unable to eat well for almost 3weeks!

This is the thing i want to share with you guys, i only paid for RM2 to remove my teeth and it took me >30mins time. If you go to private clinic, they will charge you >RM80!! If i really need operation, i have to pay RM50 here but let say you go to specialist, they will charge you RM280!!

10.05am    - XRAY
10.07am    - Start
10.20am    - Successfully removed & make payment

9 June 2009, Tuesday - My cousin sister Pei See pre-wedding buffet dinner. This is also my first wedding photo shooting experience and used external flash. I really have no idea how to use the flash and just snap whatever only. Although the result is not that good but its a good experience to learn. Before the night, my mum Natasha was very busy made agar-agar, soya bean agar & butter cake. She was so enjoy and acted like her daughter wedding.

On last two weeks, Jess was invited me for this photo shooting. First of all i have no idea what's the nice place i can suggest her. After discussed with my models (Two of our "Pig Dog geng members" - Gerayne & Kirsten), we finally have a theme and place for this outdoor portrait event. Unfortunately my sifu (John) unable to join this event and i'm lost of confident for this event because my shooting skill is 0% as I always depend on my feeling to adjust the setting.

However, i feel happy and have lots fun with my best friends during the weekend and thank you gerayne & kirten to spend time for us.

Historical Wedding Gown Photography Competition

After one week training on DSLR camera and I'm managed to joined this "Historical Wedding Gown Photography Competition" on 11 & 12 April 2009. This is a good experience and I'm so tired to get a good place capture the most beautiful part of the model, sit on the floor with the ugly shooting posting. Those model Danielle Khor, Roxanne Khor & Karen are so professional and look confident to the camera. Maybe i should learn this to become a top model.. (Haha... i always dream to be a top model) Special thanks to John Pang to teach me on technical part. :)

"LAW" subject assignment ~~ "LAW music video"

This movie is capture for our group assignment for "Engineering of LAW" subject. Our title is discuss about "Illegal downloading MP3". Since the movie is quit long, i just cut the most interesting & funny part to shared out. This part is the end part of our project, we modified a song from "Wen Na -L.O.V.E" to "L.A.W". Kiwi lassi Serves 2 Preparation time: 10mins

Ingredients:
2 kiwifruit
1 tub Buttermilk
2tbsp honey

Method:
1. Peel the kiwifruits and quarter, removing the white pith from the centre.
2. Place in a blender with the honey, buttermilk and two cubes of ice.
3. Blend and serve immediately.

Halo over Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Yesterday around 1pm, i am going out to have my lunch with my friends. On the way to the nearest McD, we saw the rainbow is cover around the sun. This is such a beautiful scenario i had see. Today, i read star newspaper then only i know this natural scenario formed is called "HALO". This halo is formed by a rare weather phenomenon.

A Meteorological Department official said a halo would occur two to three times a year under certain atmospheric conditions. “They include the presence of cirrus clouds at very high altitudes, about five to 10km above sea level,” he said.

Halos are caused by ice crystals in cold cirrus clouds located in the upper troposphere. The particular shape and orientation of the crystals are responsible for the type of halo. Light is reflected and refracted by the ice crystals and may split up into colours because of dispersion, similar to a rainbow.

Water rafting - Busat, Sabah & Sg.Serdim, Kedah

Sep 2005, Busat water rafting is located at Beaufort, Sabah. I paid RM95 for the whole trip. I needed to travel about 1&1/2hrs from KK and then take the train about 1hrs. This is the first time i played advernture activities, i was so scare when i start to raft. Our guide's asked us to jump down the water and swim for 5mins. Busat river is bigger than Sg.Serdim. Me and Siew Yein (my lovely coursemate) follow the guide jump down the river at the last raft area. I was panic and holding the guide very tide. I think i was dead at the moment, but hopefully i was not. Haha.. It is a nice try, down scare and down panic when you are in the water.

May 2007, This is my second time of rafting so i didnt feel scare or worry. This trip is organize by Augustine (my LI colleague) and cost me RM95 (i think.. almost forget how much d. excluded any meals & transport.. wow.. extremely expensive). Sg. Serdim is locate at Kulim, Kedah. It is about 2hours journey from Penang. For advice, please go early and don't be late. Or else you will like us, waiting 2hrs for others. Sg. Serdim is excited than Busat water rafting is we have to pass one water fall about two story height from the top side. Omg, i was sitting at the front site. When they push the boat, i was shooting and then drop down the water for 5sec then only come out. I was drinking so much of water :P

However, Sg.Serdim water rafting is very dangerous than Busat one. You have to take care yourself when playing it. One of my colleague was drop down the water and knock the rock. Luckily he was minor injury.. The other interesting part i forget to mention is.. before we start rafting, we have to jump down the water fall about 5m height for test jump.. :D If you are brave enough then you have no problem. Or else, you will surfer..

Labuan~~ free TAX island like Langkawi

Labuan is a free tax island in Sabah. Labuan is a small town and a relax place. People like to go there only one reason, buying those free TAX products like liquor, chocolate and cigarette. One tin of beer is only cost RM1, so everyone is crazy drinking beer there. How about u? I went to Labuan twice, first time is when my first year and the second time is my second year. I take speed boat for my 1st time and the 2nd time we took ferry.

Labuan is not much entertainment over Langkawi but you can rent a nice car like toyota, honda, nissan with a cheapest price. As my friends told me, they just rent a toyota with RM45 per day. Haha.. i bought one bottle of wine & some chocolate for my friend and i bought nothing for myself. sad...

Islands.. Pulau Malukan & Pulau Mamutik

July 2004, after setting down in KK, my senior organized island trip for us. This islands called Tunku Abdul Rahman Islands. There are five islands called Pulau Mamutik, Pulau Malukan, Pulau Sapi, and... i forget the others already. This trip just costed me RM45 includes the transports and one meals. This is my first trip in Sabah, my feeling is.. very excited and hope to discover sabah!

Mount Kota Kinabalu

Jan 2006, Yeah! I make it, i make it! I reached the peak of Mount Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! This is a very nice experience i had maked in my second year of uni life. This the reason why i chosen UMS as my first choice. I learned alot of things here. I learn how to be independent and how to make use of friends when i was outstation. Climbing Mount KK is the hardest things, before i climb i have staminal training about one month. Hey friends, please come to try it! I can make it sure i will do!
